Job summary

Alcon in Johns Creek, GA is seeking an Associate II, Electromechanical Technical Support to manage complex electro-mechanical tasks across design, development, and maintenance of equipment. This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improvingquality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Associate II, Electromechanical Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks related to electro-mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, testing, and assembling assemblies, as well as installing, calibrating, and repairing equipment. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Handle complex tasks related to the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies
• Assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment
• Install, calibrate, test, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems, including components of devices, control equipment, operation panels, and facility infrastructure
• Assist engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems
• Inspect and maintain equipment using tools and diagnostic software
• Use computer-aided-design software to model proposed systems to assess safety and reliability
• Make strategic decisions within your project area, driving project performance and technological innovation
• Stay current with advances in electromechanical systems
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control
• Complete all required training
• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization
• Commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs; MS)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Location: Onsite-Johns Creek, Georgia
• Schedule: 12 hour, Night Shift
