Job Family Summary:

This role involves executing quality and manufacturing procedures to meet production demands and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include timely manufacturing of intermediate, semi-finished, and finished pharmaceutical products that adhere to quality standards. The role also involves establishing equipment operating specifications, standard operating procedures, and improving manufacturing techniques. Additionally, it includes assisting with equipment maintenance, calibration, and resolving technical issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform semi-routine assignments requiring some judgment in problem-solving and routine recommendations, within established practices and policies.
  • Potentially guide lower-level personnel on assignments.
  • Execute manufacturing operations according to Manufacturing Records, Good Manufacturing Practices, and SOPs in a clean room environment.
  • Set up, clean up, teardown, and sanitize manufacturing areas and equipment under supervision.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment as required by Manufacturing Records and SOPs.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and testing as per Manufacturing Records and SOPs.
  • Document manufacturing activities accurately in Manufacturing Records, Controlled Forms, and Logbooks.
  • Verify and document steps performed by other Manufacturing Associates for accuracy.
  • Observe all company, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Operate approximately 50% of manufacturing equipment, fully qualified to do so.

Duties may include other responsibilities as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED, with 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain medical clearance to wear a respirator (e.g., Powered Air Purifying Respirator) for entire shift.
  • Physical ability to gown and de-gown, including use of decontamination showers, in multiple layers of clean room and potent compound gowning (e.g., Tyvek jumpsuit).
