Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or GED; valid driver's license required.
  • CFC (EPA 608) certification and boom/scissor lift certification are ideal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.

Description

This position will be filled at one of the following levels depending upon the candidate's qualifications :

Assists with installation, startup, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and servicing HVAC equipment commonly found in a wastewater treatment plant. Reports to the HVAC Supervisor and may take direction from senior HVAC personnel.

Performs installation, startup, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and servicing HVAC equipment commonly found in a wastewater treatment plant. Reports to the HVAC Supervisor and may take direction from senior HVAC personnel.

The Senior HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that carry water, steam, chemicals, compressed air, liquid gases, or fuel used in a wastewater treatment plant. Reports to the HVAC Supervisor.

  • Operation of hand and power tools
  • General office processes and procedures
  • Windows operating systems, MS Outlook, Word, Excel

Ability to :

  • Follow policies and procedures
  • Perform work in extreme environments with varying weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

Education

Graduation from high school or GED. Valid Driver's License.
