Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada is seeking a project-focused engineer to organize and manage HVAC/plumbing projects, from file creation through design and order-entry processes. You will optimize projects by selecting components, specifications, and proposals while coordinating with owners, architects, and MEP/contracting teams.

Ideal candidates have an engineering background with HVAC or construction experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to multitask across multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required or 1-2 years in HVAC/estimating/engineering environment; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP consulting, architecture, CAD, and construction industry is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, handle ambiguity, and manage high-volume projects.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project files for each project from start to finish.
• Optimize projects through product selection, specs, plans, estimates, proposals, and reports.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
• Organize data for order entry and tracking submittals.
