  • Employee must gain possession of a valid driver's license
  • Current certification for NCAA recruiting and rules implementation
  • Pass routine and random drug screening as mandated by the Department of Athletics.
  • The employee must be physically able to demonstrate many of the skills required for the student-athlete to succeed in their respective sport.
  • The employee also must be able to work outdoors during a variety of weather conditions

  • Coordinates administrative responsibilities as delegated by the head track coach.
  • Travels representing the university at various functions as directed by the head coach.
  • Any other program-relevant duties as assigned by the head coach.

South Carolina State University's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking to hire an Associate Head Coach, Cross Country/ Track & Field. The assistant coach will report directly to the head track coach and is directly responsible for the following duties.
