Invenergy LLC in Chicago is seeking an Associate, Government Affairs – Central, to focus on legislative and executive activities across the Midwest. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including trade groups and lobbyists, to support policy initiatives and strategic objectives.
The role involves policy analysis, budgeting, preparing strategy documents, and weekly reporting, with on-site work at the Chicago office.

As an Associate, Government Affairs – Central, you will focus on Invenergy's government affairs activities, primarily in the legislative and executive branch, across the Midwest. This position will support the overall Government Affairs initiatives and report to the Senior Manager, Government Affairs. You will work collaboratively with members of all departments within the company. In addition, this position requires an ability to work constructively with external stakeholders including trade organization leadership and staff, lobbyists, and peer companies. This position involves policy analysis, budgeting, preparing strategy documents, and weekly reporting.
The position will be on-site at Invenergy's Chicago office.
$82,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
