The role involves field investigations, geophysical surveys, data collection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will develop subsurface models, reports, and recommendations under supervision, with travel up to 50% for field work and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geophysics, or closely related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant post-education geotechnical field experience or related work.
• Engineer in Training certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Interest in geotechnical engineering, geology, and geophysics with potential for skill development through field work and mentorship.
• Ability to perform field work safely in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical field investigations and construction oversight.
• Assist with setting up geotechnical investigations including permits and site access coordination.
• Participate in geophysical investigations to support projects (seismic refraction, MASW, resistivity, etc.).
• Install, operate, and retrieve geophysical field equipment.
• Collect high-quality geotechnical and geophysical data across diverse sites.
• Maintain quality control and prepare technical deliverables.
