Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. You will follow established procedures to receive, store, and dispatch goods, lifting and moving items and operating pallet jacks as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience and basic education. A strong work ethic and readiness to learn are essential. Schedule is Friday to Sunday, with a pay range that includes a base hourly rate, shift differential and incentives.

Qualifications

• Basic level of education with reading, writing and numeracy; problem solving and accountability.
• 1 year of experience and professional achievements are considered.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, record and dispatch goods in a warehouse according to procedures.
• Handle stock, stocking, loading and unloading; operate pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Enter data into databases to maintain up-to-date stock records and respond to inquiries.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Associate at VF looks a little like this.

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse. Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.

• Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries.
• Responsible for working independently to reach individual production goals successfully and accurately.
