Job summary

VF Corporation, home to Vans, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our distribution center. You will receive, store, and dispatch goods, operate pallet jacks and related equipment, and maintain stock records through data entry.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience or equivalent is preferred.
• Foundation skills include reading, writing, numeracy, problem solving and accountability.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus.

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Warehouse Associate at VF looks a little like this.

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse. Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.

• Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.


• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries.


• Responsible for working independently to reach individual production goals successfully and accurately.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1 year of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

• Prior warehouse experience.

Hiring Range:

$16.20 USD - $20.25 USD per hour
