As a General Dentist with Permanente Dental Associates, you will provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. In this role, you will:

  1. Deliver preventive services to improve oral wellness.
  2. Educate patients on preventive care and best practices for maintaining long-term oral wellness.
  3. Mentor and provide guidance to clinical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and clinical excellence.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from a pre-doctoral dentistry program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association or the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.
  2. Active state license, with a minimum of a valid DEA number and current CPR certification for Washington and Oregon providers.
  3. Oregon providers must also have at least a Nitrous Oxide Permit (Permit required within 60 days of hire).
  4. Demonstrated ability to utilize evidence-based dentistry to recognize symptoms and identify treatment alternatives of diseases, injury, malformations, and desired esthetic enhancements of teeth and gums, and related oral structures.
  5. Proven ability to recommend preventive health care measures. Understanding of principles and processes for providing customer services.
  6. Proven ability to coordinate, supervise, or manage the activities of others to accomplish goals.

Preferred Experience:

  1. 1–3 years of practice experience or completion of GPR or AEGD training.
