Job summary

Melaleuca seeks an Associate General Counsel in Idaho Falls to lead privacy, litigation and transactional law initiatives. The role partners with senior leaders, supervises one attorney, and reports to the General Counsel.

You will advise on regulatory matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and proactively address evolving laws to protect the company. The position is full-time, on-site, and requires relocation to Idaho Falls, ID.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management, analysis, and advising skills.
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Providing clear, practical privacy advice to enable business strategies and efforts across the enterprise
• Leading sophisticated legal assignments with a high level of business impact and delivering appropriate solutions
• Drafting and negotiating contracts to memorialize these deals
• Coordinating with the General Counsel on periodic reporting and strategies to the Management Team
