Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; must be an attorney admitted to practice.
• Active and in good standing with the bar.
• 2–5 years of legal experience in public or private sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and policy advice to the Chief Justice and court leadership.
• Perform legal research, analysis of statutes, regulations, and pending legislation.
• Draft opinions, memoranda and other legal documents; advise on rules and policy.
• Manage litigation matters and coordinate with the Attorney General’s office.
• Support advisory bodies and committees with legal guidance and process oversight.
• Participate in strategic planning, project work, and office compliance activities.
• Review intergovernmental agreements, grants, contracts, and related documents.
• Coordinate public records requests and related policy updates.
• Draft and coordinate administrative policy amendments for the Court.
• Provide training and education to judges and quasi-judicial staff.
