We are seeking a qualified attorney for a position in the UnitedHealthcare legal department for the Southeast Region for the Network Legal Team. The lawyer in this role will support the UnitedHealthcare Network team in their work developing and managing UnitedHealthcare’s network of hospitals, physicians and other providers for its commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans. The lawyer will directly participate in the negotiation of the largest provider contracts in their assigned states and support a large team of UHN personnel in a variety of legal needs, including pre-litigation contractual disputes and negotiations. This position will also support enterprise-wide priorities related to the provider network including affordability projects and innovative new product expansions.

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually, based on full-time employment and various factors including experience and location. UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and a 401k plan.
