City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a seasoned Associate General Counsel II to serve as senior transactional counsel and adviser to Officers and administrators. You will review, negotiate, and draft a high volume of contracts, and handle FOIA requests with a focus on compliance and risk management.
Required qualifications include a JD from an ABA-accredited school and active Illinois Bar membership, plus seven years' experience in transactional work. Higher education experience is a plus.

Reporting to the Associate General Counsel III, the Associate General Counsel II serves as senior legal counsel in the Office of the General Counsel. Represents and advises Officers and administrators of the City Colleges of Chicago.
