Position Responsibilities

• Provide legal support as needed by the General Counsel
• Draft, review, and revise contracts and advise on contracts and other transactional agreements that are often subject to quick turnaround times, which could include procurement and services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other business documents
• Give accurate and timely counsel to the different internal business units and executives on a variety of legal topics
• Conducting legal research on a wide range of topics
• Monitor applicable state and federal laws, decisional laws from other jurisdictions, and industry publications
• Maintain the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct and support the company\'s goals
• Clearly communicate policies and procedures to staff

• Juris Doctorate and membership in at least one U.S. State bar is required
• At least 2 full years of experience practicing law, with some portion of that experience encompassing most of the areas of law stated herein
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
• Proficient legal research and drafting skills, and use of Westlaw and PACER
• Strong analytical skills/attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Clear, concise and practical communication skills (both oral and written)
• A solution-oriented and positive mindset that openly embraces change and stretches goals
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and high-pressure environment
• Reliable, ethical, and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with communications and privacy laws
• Large firm or in-house experience
• AV peer review rating
• Licensed in NY, Wash DC, or CA

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. May move about the office to accomplish tasks; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds as needed.
