Job summary

Blue Owl Capital seeks an Associate to join the Legal Entity Controllership team, overseeing consolidated G&A accounting and the month-end close across the firm’s multi-entity structure.

You will own journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and controls, partnering with FP&A, Tax, and business leaders to ensure accuracy and timely reporting. This role emphasizes process improvement and automation to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience in financial services.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot, lookups, SUMIFS).
• Ability to reconcile data across multiple systems.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own consolidated G&A month-end close for multi-entity structure.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Analyze variances with FP&A and explain drivers.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls.
• Support audits and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
