Working/Functional Title: Associate/Full Professor Tenure System
Position Summary: The Michigan State University Board of Trustees approved the Academic Competitiveness Fund (ACF) in 2014 to support hiring tenure-track faculty who will enhance MSU's excellence as an R1 research university. The Global Impact Initiative (GII), launched with this fund, aims to recruit 100 faculty in key research areas aligned with the university’s 2030 Strategic Plan. This position, supported by GII, focuses on addressing global challenges through research in health, energy, environment, and more, advancing MSU's mission and strategic goals.
The College of Nursing seeks a mid- or senior-level faculty expert in Health Services Research, with expertise in data science, health informatics, and health technology. The role involves developing research programs, teaching, outreach, and mentorship, with a focus on health equity and social determinants of health.
