Job summary

The Boeing Company in Albuquerque, NM, and El Segundo, CA, seeks an Associate Software Engineer to design and develop front end software and HMIs for the Rocky program. You will collaborate with UI/UX professionals to translate requirements into interactive interfaces and work within a cross-functional team across engineering, testing, and operations.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript, React, and API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 1+ years’ experience with Front End languages, frameworks, and libraries (HTML5, JavaScript, REACT, and API integration).
• Foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front end UI components for software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate software requirements into UI designs.
• Assist code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards.
• Assist in review of product plans and industry standards.
• Research and evaluate current and emerging frontend technologies and frameworks.
