Position Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Work Location: Hybrid work is authorized (minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Travel: Up to 10%
Summary Pay Range: $114,000 - $142,000 (general guideline; pay based on experience and qualifications)

- Develop and maintain responsive applications using Angular, React.js, HTML, CSS, Java for micro-services, and related technologies.
- Design, develop, analyze, and maintain software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards.
- Complete software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues and opportunities; integrate and deploy mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle.
- Perform code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards. Monitor and review test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution for software systems.
- Develop user documentation and training to educate end users about the usage of software products.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, including ability to review performance issues, identify root causes, recommend direction, and develop solutions for optimal performance.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code within the existing codebase, ensuring alignment with established architecture and coding standards.
- Work under general direction.
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in engineering or computer science and 5+ years of related experience OR
- Master's degree from an accredited program in engineering or computer science and 3+ years of related experience
- Active Secret clearance
- 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with web-based development, leveraging ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- 3+ years of experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience identifying security vulnerabilities within source code
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, computer science, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with open-source software
- 3+ years with object-oriented programming (Java)
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting software and network integration during platform deployments
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices; experience supporting Government security requirements for software delivery involving system accreditation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment utilizing Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) or similar
