Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a part-time kitchen utility worker to wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans in a hospital setting. You will retrieve soiled meal trays from patient care units and may assist with cleaning floors, dish machines and waste handling, following health and safety guidelines.

The role offers a part-time schedule with day shifts at the Swedish First Hill location, with benefits and opportunities for overtime or shift incentives as applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience washing dishes in healthcare or hospital setting.
• Must follow health and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and move trays and equipment.

This position is responsible for washing dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures. Retrieve soiled meal trays from patient care units throughout the medical center. May be responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning floor, dish machine, and emptying garbage, recycling and compost. Perform related tasks as required.
