The Firm Strategy and Execution (“FSE”) group is part of the Company Management Division of Morgan Stanley; the group is responsible for providing M&A advice and transaction execution, driving thought leadership, and executing the Firm’s strategic priorities across the Firm. As part of this mandate, FSE plays a key role in the execution of M&A transactions often pivotal to the Firm’s long‑term success (e.g., acquisitions of Smith Barney, E*TRADE, Eaton Vance, Solium, Mesa West Capital, among other deals). In addition, FSE drives several strategic growth initiatives (e.g., new market / product entry) to support business expansion both domestically and internationally. FSE offers the opportunity to join a team that is at the center of shaping the Firm’s strategy and work on a broad spectrum of strategic projects that are critical priorities for the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and Operating Committee.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $ $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
