Wiginton Fire Systems is seeking an Associate Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our Design team in Florida. The role focuses on developing accurate sprinkler drawings, coordinating with architects and engineers, and supporting projects from design through installation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer and technical skills; able to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication; capable of managing multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fire sprinkler drawings using CAD and industry software.
• Review plans and contract documents to understand requirements.
• Coordinate sprinkler layouts with architects, engineers, contractors and other trades.
• Identify design conflicts and develop solutions before field installation.
• Prepare material lists, submittals, drawings, and project documentation.
• Assist with permit submissions to AHJs and support project schedules.
