Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Financial Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with Finance Managers to support dynamic infrastructure and technology projects that impact the world around us. This role involves collaboration with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure projects stay on track, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in developing, tracking, and analyzing project budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor expenditures, financial performance, and mitigate risks
• Assist with audits, cost proposals, and financial documentation
• Recommend process improvements to enhance reporting and operational efficiency

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, logic functions, data manipulation)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with various contract types (e.g., fixed-price, cost reimbursement, time and material) is preferred

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
