Position Description: The Associate Financial Representative (AFR) is integral to the success of our financial advisory team, providing essential support through both operational and client service functions. This individual ensures the efficient operation of our practice and while maintaining the highest standards in all client interactions. The AFR plays a vital role in the creation and implementation of our clients' financial strategies, ensuring that every aspect of their financial journey is managed smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Creation of Financial Plans:
    1. Assist in the creation and updating of comprehensive financial plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    2. Prepare necessary documentation and reports for meetings, ensuring all required information is collected and organized.
    3. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support client meetings and strategy development.
    4. Facilitate the execution of investment tasks, including money movement (contributions, transfers, distributions), new account openings, and portfolio modifications.
    5. As needed, assist with various insurance tasks, including illustrations, processing applications, and underwriting correspondence.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    1. Client onboarding: Assist with client onboarding, including the request of necessary documentation and information, linking of accounts, and assistance with client portal.
    2. Client Information Management: Maintain and update client information in the CRM system, ensuring all data is accurate and current. Update client records based on new life event information. Log meeting summaries and relevant client details in CRM following client interactions while ensuring the highest standards of client confidentiality.
    3. Client Requests: Address client needs and field client questions promptly and professionally.
    4. Meeting Coordination and Preparation: Schedule and coordinate various client meetings, including strategy sessions, introductory calls, and fact-finding meetings.
    5. Meeting Documentation and Implementation: Create and manage tasks and opportunities within CRM to ensure timely implementation of client strategies.
    6. Provide additional support for any urgent client needs or special projects as directed by the advisory team.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. Life and Health Insurance license must be obtained prior to beginning work.
  3. Series 7 and 63 preferred, but must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
  4. Previous experience in a financial advisory or client service role is preferred.
