Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking an Associate Financial Planning Analyst to join the Home Solutions Financial Planning Team. You will help maximize efficiency and build financial models for future planning, including new product development and marketing strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, 1+ year of experience, and strong Excel skills; English and Korean bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Bilingual fluency in English and Korean is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of accounting and finance including variance analysis
• Expert knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, Formulas, etc.), PowerPoint and Word
• Analytical Thinking – identify patterns and underlying issues in complex situations

The Opportunity:

As an Associate Financial Planning Analyst, you will work as part of the Home Solutions Financial Planning Team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs.

This individual will also perform economic research and studies to create financial models of what if scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development; new marketing strategies

• Responsible for conducting financial analyses;
• developing and preparing the organization's financial plans and budgets;
• interpreting financial reports and tax returns; and maintaining good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Bilingual fluency in English and Korean language is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of accounting and finance including variance analysis
• Expert knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, Formulas, etc.), PowerPoint and Word
• Analytical Thinking – ability to identify patters across situations that are not obviously related and to identifying key underling issues in complex situations
