Hilltop Securities is looking to hire an Associate Financial Consultant in Dallas, Texas. The Associate Financial Consultant is responsible for providing excellent service to orphaned accounts in order to retain and generate client activity. This job will serve as an expert of Hilltop Securities (HTS) and the platforms used within the Wealth Management group. This role Hilltop Securities Inc., a member of the FINRA and SIPC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings. Hilltop Securities Independent Network (HTIN) is a brokerage firm, which provides a home for independent representatives. We offer and support a broad range of customer services, including self-directed IRA accounts, research recommendations, and trust and money management services.
Responsibilities
- Comfortable learning new technology or proprietary platforms provided to our clients, including tools specific to our Wealth Management platform such as Redtail, MoneyGuidePro (MGP), and Envestnet and navigating these multiple systems simultaneously.
- Exceptional critical and analytical problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to interpret a scenario, leverage resources and find an appropriate solution.
- Provide administrative support to financial advisor(s), facilitate communication, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Part of a team that includes the financial advisor and other staff, working together to serve clients, grow the business, and support the advisor’s and firm’s efforts.
- Work closely with the advisor to build out repeatable processes for future applications.
- Expected to be continuous learners, with a people-serving mindset, and passionate about making a difference in client’s lives.
- Support the sales process by scheduling appointments, preparing materials, and ensuring timely client touchpoints.
- Help maintain CRM data entry and maintain client records.
- Draft and send client emails, letters, and service reminders.
- Help with preparation for client meetings and data collection.
- Assist in outreach and company initiatives.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and the Financial Advisor, ensuring smooth communication and timely responses.
- Generate client activity through proactive outbound calls and quarterly campaigns.
- Maintain the highest ethical with strict adherence to compliance/ risk policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle different types of situations, emotions, and conversations driving towards solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting, or other business related major.
- Minimum of two years retail brokerage or related experience
- Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 license is a plus but not required.
- Sales experience, financial sales experience preferred.
- Confirmed experience working with clients.
- Passion for providing client-centric solutions and ability to think strategically and independently to find solutions.
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customer service situations and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player and individual contributor.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Office Products and Internet preferred.
