Wellbeing Cash & Performance Analyst

Schedule: Full time

Location: Remote US, New Jersey, Los Angeles

Reports to: Head of FP&A and Cost Controller - Wellbeing

Over the past 5 years Unilever has acquired 7 brands that embody the Wellbeing purpose of health as a lifestyle pursuit. This portfolio of millennial, digital first, narrowcasting brands includes Equilibra, Olly, Smarty Pants Vitamins, Liquid IV, Welly, Onnit, and Nutrafol. In 2024 the business is expected to reach global Turnover $2.4bn, Underlying Operating Margin in mid-teens, and expand Liquid IV to multiple new international markets.

The Wellbeing Cash & Performance analyst would join the collective group finance team reporting to the Head of FP&A and Cost Controller. The Wellbeing Cash & Performance analyst role will predominantly support the Wellbeing Finance Team on performance and reporting associated to the management of the GBU. The resource will ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to Unilever GCAD, communicate directly with our operating companies, and manage B/S, WC, Cash KPIs in coordination with Controlling and FP&A.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Cash & Financial Reporting

  • Preparing monthly Financial Reporting for Wellbeing entities for submission to Unilever (GCAD) including Trial balance, WC and Cash flow with supporting analysis (with support from the controlling team for tax, payables, M&A), by liaising with OPCO Finance teams; manage financial reporting process collecting inputs from business partners and controllers where needed, so that all reporting is done in line with the GCAD's financial reporting instructions and on time.
  • Be the first point of contact for GPM in Financial Reporting and providing cash position and monthly performance vs cash target, representing H&W Performance team and operating companies
  • Prepare cash and working capital forecasts and reports, review actuals, and present to the H&W CFO monthly.
  • Support the line manager to prepare presentations for the CFO Finflex meeting collecting inputs from Controlling and other functional partners.
  • Support the line manager to deliver quarterly Cash Committee presentations to the Operating companies to deliver Days on Hand (DOH) and Cash targets.
  • Integrating future acquisitions and ensuring smooth transition into the GBU

Wellbeing Performance Insights
  • Leading ad hoc requests and insights into performance anomalies and one-off topics.
  • Undertaking regular performance analysis to determine trends and provide insights to Wellbeing leadership teams to help drive strategic business decisions.
  • Supporting the FP&A and performance team in preparation of board and leadership team meetings through effective storytelling and communication.
  • Supporting the development of cutting-edge business insights tools for WC, Cash, Capex and Inventories and KPIs related using the latest technology, working closely with third party developers, D&A and tech teams
  • Supporting the cultural and social development of Wellbeing collective through engagement in regular meetings, town halls, and learning sessions.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible. Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
