Walmart Global Tech is seeking an Associate Fellow I to lead architectural designs and provide advisory across enterprise domains. This role drives growth through technical leadership, deep system knowledge, and mentoring a broad engineering community.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve designs, reduce complexity, and adopt best practices. The role focuses on scalable, robust production systems and cross-functional partnership.
What you'll do...The Associate Fellow I is a highly technical, hands-on role within the Walmart Global Tech team, responsible for supporting architectural designs and advisory across multiple enterprise business domain areas. The role uniquely drives disruptive growth across key priorities by leveraging differentiated technical prowess and leading the overall tech strategy and architecture across a business area. The right candidate would be required to delve deep into specific applications and services, work on higher-level multi-domain system designs that transcend functional boundaries, and act as a central resource. Additionally, they will be responsible for building systems, driving holistic outcomes, and curating, mentoring, and training a vibrant engineering micro-community within the team. In this role on the Global Technology Platforms team, you will provide direct support and engagement to engineering teams, improve designs, reduce complexity, and contribute to adoption of better practices and strengthened expertise. This role contributes towards larger systemic decoupling, and better shared standards. You will work to elevate the entire engineering organization and improve the overall quality, stability, and availability of our production systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $192,000.00 - $384,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 18 years’ experience with technology/engineering focus working on large-scale and transaction intensive product/product groups in a globally distributed work environment OR 20 years’ experience computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, experience with technology/engineering focus working on large-scale and transaction intensive product/product groups in a globally distributed work environment.
