Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in family law, including divorce proceedings, property division, and litigation, and will be committed to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents related to family law cases
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Represent clients in court hearings and trial proceedings
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in divorce and property division cases
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments
• Attend client meetings and provide legal advice on family law matters
• Strong understanding of trial court procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated negotiation and client management skills
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in TX
• 3 years of experience in family law litigation
• 3 years experience in Trial/Court Room appearances
