Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate/Facilities Engineer Level 1/2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Clearfield, UT. By joining in our shared mission, you will have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career. Day shift Weekdays 9/80 schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Level 1/2 Facilities Engineer is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks. This role includes monitoring building systems and equipment status, regularly conducting routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, and assisting with coordinating repairs and maintenance schedules. The engineer supports energy conservation initiatives, responds to facility-related emergencies, and maintains records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Additionally, they assist in space planning and facility layout optimization.

This position may be filled as either a Level 1 or Level 2 depending on qualifications below:

Basic Qualifications:

Associate Facilities Engineer (Level 1):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 0 years of Engineering experience

  • Must be a US citizen

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access

Facilities Engineer (Level 2):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 1 year of Engineering experience in the following fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, Mechanical Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 0 years of experience

  • Must be a US citizen

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E

  • Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience

  • Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems

  • Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings

  • Experience supporting manufacturing facilities

  • Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources

  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)

  • Ability to design security systems to the ICD705 is preferred

Salary Range: $56,600 - $85,000

Salary Range 2: $68,500 - $102,700

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
