KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Events & Meeting Planner to join our Events and Meetings organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute on events or programs to include but not limited to project timelines, budgeting and approvals, data analysis and reporting, research and sourcing, support of agenda development, virtual platform support and logistics management
  • Work as part of the planning team on large scale programs to support the event objectives and logistics
  • Support internal client's strategic initiatives by working with multiple stakeholders to connect program concepts and strategy
  • Collaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendors, to include, but not limited to contracting and compliance, graphic design and production, marketing, communications, national purchasing, learning operations, campus recruiting and specialty item vendors
  • Maintain integrity around compliance and controls, as well as adhere to risk management using firm-supported tools
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in events and meeting planning within a professional services firm is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or one year of recent experience in events and meeting planning
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to thirty percent annually
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationships
