Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Work Shift: Evenings (United States of America) | Hours: 11:00pm – 7:30am, includes every other weekend
Performs specialized cleaning and sanitizing duties with intent of providing a safe healthcare environment. Complete standardized cleaning process in patient rooms, offices, departments, and other secondary areas, utilizing the seven-step cleaning process. Demonstrate the individual and team behaviors that embody the service excellence philosophy. Perform additional duties as assigned within the Support Services Department.
Education: Basic reading and communicating skills required.
Experience: 1 year preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Skills: On the job training provided. Must have the ability to operate standard cleaning equipment. Basic computer skills needed. Must maintain strict confidentiality of all work-related information.
Constant interactions with co-workers, support staff, nursing/clinical staff, patients, physicians, family members, management, and all other customers. AIDET is expected when interacting with all customers.
Constant standing, frequent walking, bending, stooping, stretching, climbing, and balancing. Frequent lifting, moving, carrying, pushing, or pulling of weight up to 35lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Constant reaching with hands/arms. Intermittent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Possible exposure to blood, body fluids, biohazard waste, communicable disease or virus like COVID or CDIFF and other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Frequent exposure to chemicals. Constant exposure to wet or humid (non-weather) conditions. Moderate noise level in work area. Requires hand-eye coordination. Customer interaction throughout workday.
