Job summary

Textron Systems, Uncrewed Air Systems, is seeking an organized and dependable Associate Engineering Rep to support the Integration Lab team in the Land and Air Systems division. The role involves processing purchasing requests, expense reports, inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and maintaining configuration documents.

You will assist with data consolidation for multiple projects, coordinate with the Integrated Supply Chain, and help manage equipment and calibration inventories while

Qualifications

  • Must be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Must be a team player / ability to collaborate well within a large team of multiple disciplines.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Ability to use general hand and powered hand tools.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Must have an active driver’s license.
  • Experience with database systems such as SharePoint, JIRA and Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience with COLTS IMS a plus.
  • Experience with eMatrix or Teamcenter a plus.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings a plus.
  • Eligible to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with data consolidation of various projects.
  • Work with our Integrated Supply Chain to create and track material requisitions and inventory.
  • Purchase and track engineering equipment.
  • Assist management and leads with generating documentation to support the business line.
  • Assist with the configuration management of equipment.
  • Manage Shelf-life inventories.
  • Maintain Calibrated Equipment inventories.
  • Complete Audits as required.
  • Ensure action items are worked and closed.
  • Coordinate and execute movement of material.
  • Quickly responding to the needs of our remote testing sites, including ordering, shipping, and tracking test equipment, spare hardware and consumables.
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours.
  • Provide logistic coordination for various events.
  • Assist in keeping lab clean, stocked and certifications up to date.

About This Role

Textron Systems, Uncrewed Air Systems, is seeking an organized and dependable individual to support the Integration Lab team in our Land and Air Systems division. In this role, you will assist the team with routine administrative and operational tasks under direct guidance. Responsibilities include helping process engineering purchase requests and expense reports, supporting basic inventory tracking, assisting with shipping and receiving of parts, coordinating with procurement and other Textron Systems departments as directed, and maintaining documents by following established configuration management procedures.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is
