Job summary

City of Lincoln & Lancaster County is seeking an Associate Engineer to assist in evaluating, developing, and coordinating transportation-related activities. The role supports professional engineers and traffic operation staff on the Transportation Operations Team, applying modern engineering principles to meet program objectives.

Ideal candidate has at least two years in transportation/traffic engineering, a four-year civil engineering degree, and the ability to qualify for Engineer-in-Training

Qualifications

• 2+ years in transportation/traffic engineering.
• Civil engineering degree or equivalent.
• Ability to qualify for Engineer-in-Training certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation, development, and coordination of transportation activities.
• Support traffic operation engineering on the Transportation Operations Team.
