Job summary

Precise Systems seeks an Associate Engineer to support the STANDARD Missile Engineering branch with In-Service Engineering (ISE) tasks, including event mitigation, tactical operations, test and integration, fleet introduction, training, and life cycle support. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline and 0–2 years’ experience in engineering; the role requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.).
• 0–2 years’ experience in engineering related field; preferably in Systems Engineering.
• Must be able to obtain an Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Service Engineering (ISE) Technical and Life Cycle Support for STANDARD Missiles and AURs; participate in IPTs, Failure Review Boards, Technical Working Groups, and audits.
• Review design documentation, drawings and reports related to STANDARD Missile and AURs, maintenance and handling operations, and ATE operations and maintenance.
• Analyze new initiatives, technologies and best practices for incorporation into missile processes and procedures.
• Investigate in-service operational and maintenance issues onboard ships and facilities.
• Prepare and coordinate presentation materials for meetings and sponsor data calls.
• Support program plans, schedules, cost estimates, and action items development.
• Prepare and track STANDARD Missile Key Events Schedules & Milestones.
