Duck River Electric Membership Corporation is seeking an Associate Telecommunications Engineer or Telecommunications Engineer to design and implement telecommunications systems for Dairyland and its cooperatives. Candidates should have relevant degrees and skills in project management and engineering software. This role offers a competitive salary based on experience and education.
Hiring Salary Range for Associate Telecommunications Engineer I or II : $67,100 - $113,300
Hiring Salary Range for Telecommunications Engineering I, II or III: $75,500 - $153,000
Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level.
The Associate Telecommunications Engineer or Telecommunications Engineer will research, design, implement, administer, and find design solutions for telecommunications systems for Dairyland, member cooperatives, and other entities with which Dairyland Power may have the opportunity to do business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
1. Work in a team environment to design and develop telecommunications systems for Dairyland, its member cooperatives, municipals, and other entities with which Dairyland interconnects.
2. Design and coordinate the installation of telecommunications for all Dairyland Power Cooperative functions with emphasis on:
Microwave networks and the Dairyland mobile radio system
Mobile radio systems
Load management system
Phone and voice mail systems
Voice logging systems
Field security systems
Facility upgrades
3. Track project work in a project management systems.
4. Perform all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience Requirement:
Associate Telecommunications Engineer I or II: Associate Degree with courses in electronics, computers, or telecommunications.
Telecommunications Engineer I, II or III: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology with specialization in Telecommunications or Control Systems.
Skills : Computer literacy and experience and knowledge of engineering software. Ability to differentiate colors. Project management skills.
Licenses and Certifications : Valid Driver’s License.
