National Grid is hiring a Low Carbon Fuels Associate Engineer for our NY Gas FOH Eng and R&D Programs dept in Melville, NY.
The Associate Engineer is responsible for delivering technical evaluations of potential Renewable Gas production and/or hydrogen facilities that will provide low carbon energy derived from renewable power, municipal wastewater, solid waste, farm waste or other sources or organic waste in support of the Company’s Clean Energy Vision.
The Associate Engineer will also be responsible for the design, development and implementation of Company guidelines and standards associated with the safe and economically advantageous interconnection of renewable gas and/or green hydrogen production facilities with the Company’s gas distribution systems in accordance with industry best practices. laws, and state regulatory requirements.
Salary
$99,000 - $117,000 a year
Salary commensurate with location and experience
