Job summary

PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks an Associate Engineer - Field Operations in our Chicago, Illinois Central Shop. This role is part of the District Operations team responsible for field activities in natural gas distribution, including operations, maintenance and construction.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Project/process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of analytical software to provide solutions to improve efficiency of natural gas transmission and distribution systems.
• Monitor progress against compliance due date and year-end targets.
• Understand the operation of gas facilities to properly supply natural gas to customers.
• Develop knowledge of the installation process of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones as a part of new pipeline construction program.
• Ensure we are delivering a quality service to our customers.
• Work with various stakeholders and provide input on technical engineering aspects of projects.
