Job summary

Artheon in Neptune, NJ is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to land development, infrastructure design, and municipal projects.

You will design and draft using AutoCAD Civil 3D, prepare permit applications, and collaborate with project managers and surveyors. A PE is a plus and EIT required, 2–5 years of experience, bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Design and Drafting

Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).

Permitting And Compliance

Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Project Collaboration

Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.

Technical Reports

Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.

Licensing

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.

Skills
