Job summary

Vishay is seeking a product development professional to drive specifications, budgets, and execution across multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role focuses on coordinating the full product development lifecycle from concept through testing and rollout.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to optimize yield and performance, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory requirements. A strong engineering background and cross-functional leadership are essential.

• Elaborating or allocating functional budgets and resources, and agreeing with stakeholder in business.
• Managing the product development project, coordinating roll-out of project plan and managing the achievement of the plan.
• Coordinating related engineering disciplines (e.g., new platforms, IC layouts, mechanics, electronics).
• Integrating and managing idea generation, product design, simulation & testing, and other engineering activities.
• Cooperating with MPI to increase yield and functioning of the product.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining, elaborating, approving and/or ensuring implementation of specifications and requirements, for the product assigned.
• Elaborating or allocating functional budgets and resources, and agreeing with stakeholder in business.
• Managing the product development project, coordinating roll-out of project plan and managing the achievement of the plan.
• Coordinating the related engineering disciplines (e.g., new platforms, IC layouts, mechanics, electronics).
• Integrating and managing idea generation, product design, simulation & testing, and other specific engineering activities.
• Cooperating with Manufacturing Product Integration (MPI) to continuously increase the yield and functioning of the product.

A job at this level...

• Selects and utilizes precedents, methods, tools and procedural guidance given.
• Executes case-specific procedures to realize assigned parts or steps in the development project (e. g. , design parts according to specifications given, by using 3D design and simulation programs).
• Supports engineers in solving issues and problems (e. g. , building and/or testing prototypes, calibrating, calculating, upscaling, etc. ).
• Cooperates with or support external service provider in their work.
