Associate Engineer – Nashville, TN

We are seeking an Associate Engineer for our Nashville office. The role involves fieldwork and in‑office analysis, providing expert consulting services to clients and ensuring accurate, science‑based reconstruction of high‑stakes vehicle accidents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Field Investigation & Evidence Collection
  • Perform on‑site inspections, vehicle assessments, and rapid‑response investigations.
  • Capture and document physical evidence using advanced tools such as 3D laser scanning, drones, and digital photography.
  • Preserve scene and vehicle conditions through accurate documentation before environmental changes.
Engineering Analysis & Technical Support
  • Apply engineering principles to analyze vehicle motion, damage patterns, impact forces, and driver response.
  • Use specialized software tools including CAD, photogrammetry, collision simulation, laser scanning platforms, and EDR analysis.
  • Support planning and execution of engineering analyses under senior guidance.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare clear, technically accurate written materials for engineering reports.
  • Assist with the development of visual exhibits and reconstruction models.
  • Present technical findings to internal team members and external audiences.
Project & Team Support
  • Support multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, client engagement staff, and operations partners.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all client‑facing and internal interactions.
