White & Case LLP in New York City is seeking an Associate in Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance (EIPAF) with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience. The role involves supporting complex project financings across energy, transportation, real estate and public infrastructure, under partner supervision.
You will conduct in-depth legal research, draft filings, and contribute to negotiations while coordinating timelines and working with senior lawyers.

Our Project Development and Finance Practice specializes in advising clients on the legal and financial aspects of large-scale infrastructure and development projects. Our practice provides comprehensive support through all stages of project development, including initial planning, financing, construction and operation. Our team works with clients across various sectors such as energy, transportation, real estate and public infrastructure, offering expertise in structuring and negotiating project agreements, managing regulatory compliance and mitigating risks. We also assist clients in securing funding through various financial instruments and navigating complex financial transactions. By combining deep industry knowledge with a global perspective, our Project Development and Finance Practice helps clients successfully bring projects to fruition, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Roles at this level focus on handling legal tasks that require strong understanding of applicable laws related to Transactions specialisms. They represent clients (under the supervision of partners) with senior colleagues, providing essential support during negotiations. They conduct in-depth research and work with senior members of the team in resolving legal matters. Roles at this level may also provide substantial support with client management.
