L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Electrical Engineering in Orange, VA. The role involves learning to design and develop electrical systems for integration of equipment on military and commercial aircraft and ground stations.

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field or completed degree within last 12 months.
• Knowledge of CAD tools and electrical system design.
• Ability to coordinate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production.

Responsibilities

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD tools.
• Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Design avionics systems, RF, LAN, data processing, power distribution, and electrical loads analysis; support testing and integration on aircraft.

Job Description:In this role, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercialaircraftand ground stations. Electrical Engineershave the opportunity towork on a wide variety of tasks andaircraftsystems onnumerousaircraftplatforms.

Essential Functions:

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, controlpanelsand other items using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools
• Research and preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost
• Designs can include development of Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, Load shedding scheme to name a few, along with the opportunity to support testing and integration of systems on theaircraft

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants mustbe pursuingaBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Scienceorrelated field or have completed theirBachelor’sdegree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $78,000 - $91,300. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
