Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks Electrical Engineers for the Defense Systems Sector in Plymouth, MN. The role supports product development, schematic design, and testing across analog/digital electronics, with collaboration across teams to meet program objectives.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Electrical Engineering and US citizenship for government clearance; Python experience and lab equipment familiarity are preferred. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution by December 2026.
• Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of Electrical Engineers through product development.
• Consider technical tradeoffs, design requirements and program objectives.
• Ability to calculate and simulate design concepts prior to and during schematic entry.
• Lead schematic development with experience in analog and digital circuit design.
• Oversee board layout and provide feedback to the PWB designer.
• Lead and/or participate in the peer review process.
• Perform and analyze circuit card level testing.
• Work with Business Development and Program Management to present electronic Fuzing designs to customers.
