Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to contribute to complex electro-optical, opto-mechanical, and RF/photonics projects. You will design, analyze and verify components, modules and assemblies for avionics and space systems, interfacing with labs, management, and customers.

The role requires strong VHDL, HFSS, MATLAB and RF knowledge, plus the ability to present results and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or having completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with high-speed electronics and RF/photonic systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare component drawings and specifications for complex electro-optical, opto-mechanical or electro-mechanical products.
• Support procurement, select parts, and interpret test results to assure conformance.
• Communicate with engineers, management, and customers on technical issues and status.
• Present analysis results to engineers and customers for clear understanding.
