Job summary

PacRim Engineering is hiring an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a team delivering electrical design for DoD, government, and commercial projects. The role emphasizes power distribution design, lighting, and site power planning, with duties spanning analysis, design, and construction support.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 4–6 years of experience, and CA EIT/DoD exposure is a plus. Hybrid work options and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4–6 years of electrical engineering experience.
• EIT License in California is preferred; DoD/Navy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support a Project Manager in supervising and executing electrical projects.
• Perform electrical design tasks including power distribution calculations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare Basis of Design (BOD), PS&E, reports, cost estimates, and construction support.
• Coordinate with team members and provide direction as needed.
