Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and ownership of engineering design as well as 2D drawing formats and standards for a wide array of electrical products.
  • Development and coordination for internal and customer design reviews for the electrical and system level designs of our products.
  • Coordinate between several internal and external stakeholder groups to achieve contractual commitments.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of lab equipment as failures occur.
  • Development of supporting documentation (operating / user manuals, etc.) for our products.

We also work on and assist with the US Air Force B-1 and B-2 Bombers, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solution efforts to solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability. The position will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and products for defense or commercial systems.Responsibilities:Oversight and ownership of engineering design as well as 2D drawing formats and standards for a wide array of electrical products:Cable assembliesWiring diagramsSystem interconnectsNetwork interconnectsCircuit Card AssembliesDevelopment and coordination for internal and customer design reviews for the electrical and system level designs of our productsDevelopment of supporting documentation (operating / user manuals, etc.) for our productsAssist in troubleshooting of lab equipment as failures occurCoordination with engineering manager(s) to ensure product technical data packages meet project schedule commitmentsCoordinate between several internal and external stakeholder groups (Software Development, System Test, Cyber Operations, Procurement, etc.) to achieve contractual commitmentsBasic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with 0 years of engineering experience.- Ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion.- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications-Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.- Ability to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Preferred Qualifications:- Active US Government SECRET or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years.- Active Program clearance.- Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related disciplineExperience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)- Experience in Circuit Analysis & Digital/Analog Design- Experience in Signal I/O Interfacing & Distribution- Experience in Voltage/Resistance/Capacitance/Isolation Testing- Experience in Power Distribution Systems- Experience with HW/SW Integration- Experience in Instrumentation or Avionics Systems- Experience in Nuclear Surety- Experience in an Agile development environment- Experience in Cadence Design Tools and/or PCB Development.- Experience with any of the following CAD Software Tools and Data- Management Products: CATIA, SolidWorks Mechanical/PDM, Siemens NX/Capital, SEE Electrical Expert, Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView, SmarTeam, Team Center- Experience with nuclear hardened systems.Primary Level Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $93,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
