Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Electrical Engineer in Mason, OH to learn and contribute to design and development of electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft.

You will work on planning, analysis, and validation of discrete analog circuitry, selecting components, and performing tests and verifications. Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed a related bachelor’s degree with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Spice-based circuit simulation is a plus.

Job Description:

In this role, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations. Electrical Engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on numerous aircraft platforms.

• Planning, Design, Analysis, and Validation of discrete analog circuitry for Space applications
• Evaluate and implement design requirements
• Perform analysis to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
• Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers
• Lab assignments such as soldering, populating PWAs, creating test setups, running verification testing of electronic assemblies

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge and/or experience with discrete electronic circuitry, Communication Systems, Defense/Aerospace Industry or Space Industry
• Knowledge of Spice simulation tools
• Knowledge and/or experience with building and testing electronics
• Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
