Job summary

Partnership Academy in Richfield, PA is seeking an Associate Educator for the 2026-2027 year and beyond. The role is full-time and hourly, offering $19.70-$25.00 per hour plus benefits. Immediate start for a public charter school serving preschool through 8th grade.

The educator will work with individual students and small groups to reinforce reading, writing, and math, maintain a positive classroom culture, and collaborate with staff to support language development and social-emotional learning.

Qualifications

  • AA or higher or 60 college credits or Parapro exam required.
  • Experience with preschool/elementary/middle school students preferred.
  • Ability to lead small groups and adapt to student needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with individual students and small groups on reading, writing, and math.
  • Motivate students to complete work and progress toward goals.
  • Facilitate lunch and recess duty.
  • Maintain a positive classroom culture with diverse learners.
  • Support English language development and social-emotional skills.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and build student independence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and track student growth data.
  • Record and maintain evidence of student progress.

JobDescription:
  • Works with an individual student and small groups of students to implement lessons or practice in reading, writing, and math in person
  • Effectively motivates students to complete work and progress in their learning toward learning goals
  • Facilitates lunch and recess duty
  • Maintains a positive classroom culture by working effectively with students and staff of all backgrounds
  • Supports the development of English language development, positive behaviors and social/emotional skills, in accordance with students' learning plans.
  • Provides positive reinforcement and helps students build independence.
  • Collaborates effectively with a variety of colleagues.
  • Effectively collects and maintains evidence of student growth and other data.
Qualifications:
  • Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree or higher OR high school diploma/G.E.D with at least 60 college credits OR successful completion of Parapro examination (Required)
  • Experience working with preschool, elementary, or middle school students (Preferred)
  • Can independently lead small groups and will be flexible and adaptive in problem solving to meet students' needs (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and will collaborate effectively (Preferred)
