Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active veterinary state license required.
• DEA license preferred or ability to obtain.
• USDA accreditation preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
• Perform routine surgical procedures and support ongoing patient care.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and preventive care plans to clients.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Continue developing clinical knowledge and skills through mentorship and continuing education.
